 Erichsen Sheet Metal Tester 102
Electro-hydraulically driven sheet metal testing machine (cupping tester)with fully automatic test sequence. Suitable for the medium thickness range of sheet metal and preferred particularly by sheet metal producers for quick quality control.
The forward movement of the test punch is automatically stopped at specimen failure and the cupping depth value reached is displayed on an electronic digital counter with a resolution of 0.1 mm. As an optional accessory a data evaluation system with PC for the modified Erichsen cupping test is available. When equipped with a special microscope with illumination, the testing machine can also be used to evaluate the quality of coatings on sheet metal.
For the fabrication of blanks necessary for the deep draw cupping test, the machine can be equipped (or retrofitted) with a hydraulic blanking press (blanking force 200 kN).
